DJ 3000 has been born and raised in the Detroit enclave of Hamtramck, where he was inundated with both the sights and sounds of his neighborhood, a highly ethnic area of Detroit, as well as with the influence of the music of his parent’s native Albanian background.
This diverse collection of influences has molded his musical path and the vision of his Motech label.
Franki discovered the rich history of Detroit Techno by going straight to the source. Through a friend he was introduced to the world of 2030, one of Detroit’s most famous outlets for electronic music, and by association, introduced to the world of Underground Resistance, and hasn’t looked back since.

Now we are treated to his new DJ-mix album on the Slovenian Explicit/Matrix Music label (co-owned by Umek). The latest installment in the 'Ekspozicija' series (following releases by Kevin Saunderson, DJ Rush, Marco Bailey, Christian Smith, Slam and Cristian Varela) is as high-quality as can be expected from an artist such as DJ 3000. It is deep and driving, there are ethnic influences, the mixes are done with exceptional ease (all live, no studio trickery!) and smoothness.
Furthermore, Franki is not afraid to blend seemingly incompatible electronic styles together. The set includes the most current work of some of the most innovative artists from the electronic underground:
BUSCEMI, ROBERT HOOD, TECHNASIA, OCTAVE ONE, ICAN, SUBURBAN KNIGHT, CHRISTIAN FISCHER, PIGNA PEOPLE…In addition, DJ 3000 also included some of his own unreleased tracks and collaborations in the mix.

Pl. régóta készülök folytatni a film interpretációs mix-sorozatot, amiből ugye egyelőre csak a Drakulahangulat van készen, de tervben van egy 'Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes'-féle igazi kattant mix is, passzolóan ahhoz a vérgagyi slasher-filmhez. De még ez előtt (most így gondolom legalábbis) egy amolyan combosabbfajta technomix is elkészül, ami szintén nvc-kiadvány lesz.
Ilyenek...meg még számtalan ötletfoszlány a homlokom mögött...

Hát Derrick May és Jeff Mills teljességgel megkerülhetetlen, pluszmég zseniális is, úgyhogy jól tapogatózol. Szerintem imádni fogod Carl Craig -et (az a fasz is belenyúlt má' mindenbe, nem eccerű csávó) is. Ha az Advent-féle zúzda is bejön, akkor ugye pl. Chris Liebing is adja magát.

It is one of the few times that I am posting a podcast other than the ones from the Resident Advisor series. But this is an amazing set broadcasted from BBC Northern Ireland. The set contains some voice cover but you will get in your ears some true tech house sound from the Slam brothers. I have already listened to it 10 times or so and every time sounds better and better. Enjoy it!

Hihi, nem ő a csaj, elbasztam. De a többi stimmel (mostmá utánanéztem), csak összekevertem egy másik kattant japánnal (igazából mindegyikük kattant, nem?), aki viszont egy nőci, és ő is ilyen noise büntetéseket csinál; a Solmaniaval és a Masonnával együtt szokott feltűnni. Neki is valami ilyesmi a neve, Masahiko, vagy mi. Összefolynak ezek az arcok, mint a zenéik.
Amúgy megértem, ha neked ez nem elég letisztult, ez tényleg nagyon egyéni megítélés kérdése.

Hja, a 100-ból 10-zel maximálisan egyetértek, de ez még egész jóindulatú számítás, valóban. ;)

zajról jut eszembe , néha ha hallok egy zajt , mondjuk mákos tv sistergése , vagy villanytrafó az utcában ( első papir trippemkor mikor elvesztem a városban egy ilyen trafó térített el a goától ha jobban belegondolok ) meg az ilyen homogén sistergések , tehát nem a noise zenék , hanem homogén zaj sistergések vagy búgások vonzanak mint méhet a méz és nem bírok róla lekattanni

ha meghallok egy ilyet hihetetlenül szárnyra kap a lelkem most viccen és bármi nemű túlzáson kívül

inspirál , asszociációkra késztet , néha olyan mintha letisztítaná az agyam

a villanytrafó leírhatatlan búgása néha ilyen angyalok éneke fless még józanul is
viszont a noise zenéket nem nagyon szeretem

ÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁ.....Gáborom, maximálisan NEM értek egyet. A Justice-nak egy nagyon markáns egyedi stílusa van, ami nagyonis eltér a Daft Punk hangzásától. A Justice-féle "helyezzünk egy 1977-es diszkólemezt a lemeztányérra, majd dobjuk bele az egészet egy mocsárba, hajoljunk a mocsár fölé, és úgy hallgassuk"-hangzás annyira markánsan egyedi, hogy az szinte nem is igaz, és ilyesmit nyomokban sem lehet felfedezni a Daft Punk munkákban. Néha retrózik a Daft Punk is, de tökmáshogyan.
Attól még, mert franciák, ketten vannak, és elektronyos tánczenét játszanak, attólmég nagyonnem Daft Punk utánzat a Justice.

Bájdövéj: valakinek megvan teljes verzióban a Metallica: Master Of Puppets (Justice remix)?
Jóideje vadászom rá, de egyik Justice remixválogatáson sem jelent meg, sőt, EP-ről sem tudok.

Szóval lehet hogy képviselnek más hangzást is de ez az album akkor is, a legjobb esetben is egy tribute to Daft Punk.

Amúgy az emlitett francia dúó pályafutását több mint 10 éve követem, annak minde húllámvőlgyével együtt és bizton állitom nem a Justice az első zenekar akik a Daft Punk "köpönyegéből potyogtak ki"...
